Herbert "Jake" Jacobson, 93, of Kailua, a retired supervisor for the Navy Public Works Center, Kem's Electric and Pacific Marine, and a Navy veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Fowler, Colo. He is survived by wife Beatrice S.; sons Alvin, Brian and Carlton Hayasaka; daughter Penny Sakamoto; sister Betty Leieritz; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation:10:30 a.m. Saturday at Kailua Christian Church. Services:11 a.m. Inurnment:2 p.m. Jan. 18 at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire.
