Luis Encarnacion Buenafe, 85, of Waipahu, a security guard and a veteran of the U.S. armed forces in the Philippine Scouts, died in Hawaii Medical Center West. He was born in Lemery, Philippines. He is survived by wife Ninfa G.; sons Herick S., Lloyd S. Reynold S. and Luisito S.; daughter May B. Alber; sister Norma B. Narcisco; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial to be held at a later date in Cabanatuan City, Philippines. Casual attire. No flowers.
