Bernard Michael Cordeiro, Sr., age 67, passed at Kuakini Health System in Honolulu, HI on Monday, December 26, 2011 of natural causes.
He was born on August 5, 1944, in Honolulu, HI; grew up in Damon Tract and Pearl City; lived in San Mateo and Napa, CA; returned home and lived in Kailua, HI before settling in Kahaluu, where he and his wife, Esther, raised their children, farmed and ranched for more than 44 years.
Bernard is survived by his wife, Esther, son, Bernard (BJ), daughter, Katie, grand-daughter, Azia, father, Raymond "Spike" Cordeiro, Sr., brothers, Raymond "Keia" & Anthony, sisters, Angeline "Cookie" and Theresa Schlemmer, numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and lifelong friends. Preceded in death by mother, Sophie, and son, James.
Funeral Services: Key Project, 47-200 Waihee Road, Kaneohe, HI 96744. Visitation at 11:00 a.m. Services Begin at 12:30 p.m. Burial Services at Temple Valley at 2:00 p.m. Aloha Attire and Tropical Flowers Requested.
