Harry Masami Hirata, also known as Masaru Hirata and "Horsey," 93, of Honolulu, a retired Meadow Gold Dairies milk processor and Army veteran who served in the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, 100th Battalion Company D, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Emiko; sons Milton Y., Leighton T. and Alan T.; daughter Jo-Ann E. Higashi; brother Hiroki; and four grandchildren. Private services.
