81Janis Makalapua “Babe” Omori, 63, of Captain Cook, Hawaii, a supervisor at Macadamia Nut Factory and employee at Mrs. Field’s Cookie Co. and Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Farm, died in Kona Community Hospital. She was born in Kealakekua, Hawaii. She is survived by husband Lawrence; sons Larryjason and Troy; sisters Barbara Parish, Jennifer Friels and Sonja Kalili; and five grandchildren. Visitation and mass: 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Casual attire.
