HAROLD "IGGY" IGE

Age 70, of Haleiwa, rode his last wave on January 4th, and went to be with the Lord while doing what he loved most - playing in the ocean.
For those who knew him professionally, Harold was a master craftsman, legendary shaper, and innovative designer in his life-long profession. His legacy will live on in the thousands of boards he shaped with passion and precision.
For those who were fortunate to know him personally, Harold was soft-spoken, humorously honest, gentle and generous. He savored life deeply and fully, and lived his life reflecting his faith and love for the Lord in all he did. Those he left behind know he was welcomed into Heaven with the words "Well done".
Harold is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Mary; daughter Kerry Renee Ige Krause, son-in-law Glenn, and grandson Gabriel; daughter Katrina Danielle Ige Parrish, son-in-law Christopher; sisters Shizuko, Michiko, Tamaye and
Patricia; brother James Ige; nieces and nephews.
Please join us in a celebration of Harold's life at Haleiwa Beach Park on January 28th, 8:00 a.m. A paddle out will follow, and he will be returned to the ocean he loved.
