Joseph Kuuleialoha Hookano Sr., 77, of Kaneohe, a retired Hawaiian Bitumuls rollerman and a Marine Corps veteran who served in the Korean War, died. He was born in Kahaluu. He is survived by wife Barbara J.; son Joseph K. Jr.; daughters Laura Carvalho, Renee Coloma, Ramona "Mona" Silva and Nadine Alpichi; brother Louie; sisters Henrietta "Honey" Choy Foo, Naomi "Leilani" Lapinad and Queenie "Napua" Kobashigawa; 15 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Thursday and 9:30 a.m. Friday at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Services: 7 p.m. Thursday and 10:30 a.m. Friday. Committal services: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire.
