Robert Hitoshi Kanayama, 81, of Waipahu, a Foodland Super Market meat cutter and an Army veteran, died in Las Vegas. He was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Florence Y.; sons Derwin S., Darett I. and Daryl H.; daughter Deborah N. Hatcher; brother Earl; sisters Kay Unebasami, Michiko Okahara, Kari Wakida and Ruth Tanaka; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 1 p.m. Friday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 2 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
