81Gerald Fernandez Jr., also known as "Captain" and "Green Jeans," 60, of Pukalani, Maui, a former heavy equipment mechanic for the state highway division, died in Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Puunene, Maui. He is survived by wife Paulette Breeden; sons Edric Breeden, and Gerald "Jerry Boy" III and Kai Fernandez; daughter Dawn; mother Frances; sister Harriet Gushi; and a grandchild.
