80Jay Juan Serain, 98, of Hilo, a retired truck and tractor operator at Ookala and Laupahoehoe sugar companies, died at home. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by wife Beatrice, sons Rudy, Jay and Daryl, daughter Karon Serain-Darnall, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary, Papaikou, Hawaii. Mass: 10 a.m. Casual attire.
