Thomas John Calabrese, 74, of Hilo, a federal government engineer and a Navy veteran, died at home. He was born in Pittson, Pa. He is survived by wife Sharon; sons Thomas, Michael and Nicholas Calabrese, and Stephen and Harry Nishimoto; daughter Jan Arita; brothers Charlie, John and Anthony; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
