Royden Haruto Yamasato, 71, of Kailua-Kona, a West Hawaii planning program manager for Hawaii County, consultant for Carlsmith Ball LLP and Army veteran, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Irene, daughters Desiree Okamoto and Pamela Ishihara, brothers Sheldon and Dennis, and four grandchildren. Visitation: 1:30 p.m. Feb. 27 at Kona Outdoor Circle. Celebration of life: 3 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
