81Kurt Dale Hookano, 51, of Waimanalo, a roofer at Belmonte's Roofing & Waterproofing and Chris Roofing, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Jon Jon "JJ"; sons Kurt Jr. and William "Koa" Hookano, and Leomana and Oli Turalde; daughters Latasha and Uluhane; hanai sons Pii and Kili Wakana; hanai daughter Rosann Enoka; father Harry Kaaumoana; brothers George Furtado and Harry Kaaumoana Jr.; sisters Bernie Paik, Uilani Borden and Harrielyn Spencer; and seven grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at St. John's By the Sea, Kahaluu. Services: 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Private scattering of ashes.
