Ernest "Cowboy" Hohu, 87, of Honolulu, a retired Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard machinist and an Army veteran, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honokaa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Shizuko, stepson Ivan Kaupiko, daughter Cheryl Pai, brother Joseph, sister Dorothy Rodrigues, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Private services.
