81Gertrude Moniz, 84, of Hilo, a retired factory worker, died in Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born inOlaa, Hawaii. She is survived by sons M. Anthony, Wesley and Glenn; daughter Diane Kuamoo; brothers Albert, Ernest, Howard and Kenneth Waltjen; sisters Mabel DeSilva and Daisy Waltjen; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Private services to be held at a later date.
