81Becky Kalani Takeya, 69, of Hilo, a retired County of Hawaii Department of Parks and Recreation groundskeeper and former Ookala Sugar Co. warehouse worker, died in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Opihikao, Hawaii. She is survived by husband Allan, sons Ricky and Kyle, daughters Jade Miyazaki and Jodie Takeya, hanai son Alwin Ma‘e, hanai daughter Yuko Suzuki, hanai parents Michael and Dottie Kyser, brothers Robert Makuakane and Donald Poepoe, hanai sister Nene Kaleo, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. Tuesday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 5 p.m. Casual attire.
