RAYMOND F. GROESCHNER
Previously of Old Greenwich, CT passed away on 2/16/12 in Honolulu, HI. He was 68. He is predeceased by his parents John & Cecile (Ford) Groeschner & brother Michael A. Groeschner, survived by brother John Groeschner (Marie) of Jacksonville, FL & sisters Janis Owens of Lakewood, CO & Lois Salvatore (Guy) of Belvidere, NC, & several nieces & nephews. Born on 9/4/43, Raymond spent his childhood & teenage years in the Stamford/Greenwich CT area, where he enjoyed the many beaches along Long Island Sound, blue & snapper fishing & playing chess. He moved to Honolulu in 1976. He loved his paradise home with a passion, & was often found at the Waikiki chess tables or along the beach with his metal detector, with which he found many treasures over the years. He was a very spiritual man. The family would like to thank all the kind people of Hawaii who helped Raymond over the many years-your kindness, compassion, understanding & generosity are deeply appreciated.
