72Ethel Meldarene Begley, 87, of Kailua, a homemaker, died in Kailua. She was born in Scotia, Calif. She is survived by husband Robert E., sons Robert Jr. and David, daughters Judith Trimble and Kathy Smith, 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Kailua. Services: 12:30 p.m. Private burial. Lei welcome.
