ROSE PASSED ON FEBRUARY 5, 2012 AT 1035 HOURS AT WAHIAWA GENERAL HOSPITAL. SHE WAS BORN ON AUGUST 4, 1917 IN EWA BUT HAS BEEN A LIFETIME RESIDENT OF WAHIAWA.
SHE IS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER PARENTS (Florentino Mancao & Marcela Unabia Mancao of Waipahu), HUSBAND (Teodoro Balao Dangidang of Wahiawa-1985), SONS: Daniel Yacap {USAF} of Las Vegas, NV-2004; Theodore "Ted" Mancao Dangidang {USMC} of Wahiawa-2009, Randy Mancao Dangidang {USAF} of Wahiawa, HI-2011, Albert "Al" Mancao Dangidang {USAF} of Adelanto, CA-2011; DAUGHTER (Fely Yacap Sunio of Aiea-2011); and BROTHERS (Crispin Mancao of Honolulu-2006 and Alfred Mancao, Sr. {U.S. Army} of Ewa-1989).
ROSE IS SURVIVED BY 2 SONS and 2 DAUGHTERS: Roland P. Dangidang (USAF) of Wahiawa, Adolpho Yacap (U.S. Army) of Newberry Springs, CA, Yolanda (Daniel) Dangidang Roberts of Tacoma, WA and Charlene (Jim) A. Nowak of Las Vegas, NV.
ROSE HAS 20 GRANDCHILDREN (13 Grandsons & 7 Granddaughters), 32 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN, 3 GREAT-GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN, AND MANY NEPHEWS & NIECES (last names mentioned only: Mancao, Mancao-Young, Daugherty, Goeman, Lanosa, Rapollo, Gibson, Bellez, Schreiber, Easley). Also survived by three sisters: Conchita Bellez, Marcy Lanosa, and Dolores Easley-all of California.
Visitation at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 10 at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel; Service 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Burial follows. Aloha Attire. Flowers Welcome.
