William Carl "Bill" Welden, 57, of Kapolei, an Army veteran, died in St. Francis Hospice-West. He was born in Morehead City, N.C. He is survived by wife Elna Mayrena-Welden; son Anthony; mother Mary E.; brother Robert J.; and sisters Susie Thoren, Cindi Heaps, Mary Bohnert and Wendy BoBo. Visitation: 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Jude Church, 92-455 Makakilo Drive. Mass at noon. Committal services: 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Flowers welcome.
