71Herbert A. Lau, 89, of Hono-lulu, a retired budget analyst at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, died in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Pearl Y.; son Michael Y.C.; daughters Lauriette Wong, Carol L. Otto, Angela Inouye and Marilyn L. Tuttle; sisters Amy Wong, Betty Cecil and Renee Kam; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Private services.
