81Hilarion Palacol, 96, of Papaikou, Hawaii, a retired tractor operator at the former Mauna Kea Sugar Co., died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in San Ildefonso, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is survived by sons Edmundo and Renato, hanai son Manuel, hanai daughters Minalynn Villanueva and Delores Hagland, 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 1 p.m. Sunday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Papaikou. Mass: 2:30 p.m. Burial to follow at Mauna Kea Memorial Park. Casual attire. No flowers.
