Shiro Kurasaki, 89, of Los Altos, Calif., a carpenter and an Army veteran, died in Los Altos. He was born in Koloa, Kauai. He is survived by wife Dora; sons Seth, Howard and Kerry; brothers Whitey and Itsuto; sisters Aachan Murayama and Sueko Galariada; and a grandchild. Committal services and inurnment: 10 a.m. Friday at Kauai Veterans Cemetery, Hanapepe. Aloha attire. Flowers optional.
