Rodney Robinson "Pancho" Freitas, 60, of Pahala, Hawaii, a fish cutter at Foodland Supermarket in Keaau, Hawaii, former rancher at Kawaihae Ranch in Kau and a commercial fisherman, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Kau. He is survived by wife Bernadette L.B.; sons Rodney K. and Brendan L.; daughter Dayna K. Freitas Middlesworth; brothers Robert, Leighton and Ronald; sisters Linda Novogradac, Charlotte Hamada and Helen Freitas; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 11 a.m. Saturday at Pahala Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Pahala. Mass: 1 p.m. Gathering to follow at the residence of Rodney "Kini" Freitas, 96-3189 Pikake St., Pahala. Casual attire. No flowers.
