Katsuyoshi "Kats" Nishimura, 86, of Ventura, Calif., a retired civil engineer for the Navy at Port Hueneme and an Army veteran who served in World War II with the Military Intelligence Service, died in California. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Kim, son Ken, daughter Lyn and sister Masayo Fujikami. Private services.
