72William Alexander Waters Jr., 89, of Hilo, a retired district superintendent of Kauai, Windward Oahu and Hawaii County schools and member of the Board of Education, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Lillian K., sons William and Jonah, daughter Kehaulani "Koko" Vogel, brother Morris B. and six grandchildren. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
