MICHAEL BLASKO
Michael lost his battle with cancer on March 9 2012. He was a Vietnam veteran, belonged to the Am. Legion, and was Chaplain for the V.F.W. Post 849,which he was honored to be.He was very passionate about animals, and animal rights that he and his wife Patti, founded the first Non-Kill animal shelter named K-9 Rescue in 1985.His love for animals was great,but his love for his wife Patti and family was greater, he will be missed tremondesly by her and his cousins Debbie Etter and her family and Larry Leibowitz and his family and all of the friends that knew him.
Viewing is 1 to 1:15 at Moanalua Mortuary on March 20. Gravesite services will be at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery in Kaneohe also on March 20, at 2:00. Aloha wear welcome. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to K-9 Rescue P.O. Box 1602 Waiane 96792.
