Kenkichi "Bilson" Hashimoto, 79, of Pahala, Hawaii, a retired truck driver at the former Kau Sugar Co., died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Kau, Hawaii. He is survived by sons Glen and Vince Hashimoto, and Crispin "Jr" and Larry Navarro; daughters Velma Kekoa, Darlene "Lingis" and Candy Hashimoto, and Rose Marie, Rose Mary "Piki" and Deanna Navarro; stepsons Jerry, Jesse and Blaine Navarro, and Duane Breithaupt; stepdaughters Shannon Flores, Ruth Fernandez, Roseanne Yokoyama, Elvira Paiva and Annie Navarro; hanai son Luigi Nunziata; brothers Susumu and Charles "Kenzo"; sisters Suzuko Yamamoto and Sandra Saiki; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Friday at Naalehu Hongwanji Hall. All-night vigil to follow at his residence, 96-1255 Hinano St., Pahala. Additional visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at the hall. Services: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Naalehu Community Cemetery. Casual attire.
