83Bernard James “Jimmy” Rita Sr., 55, of Lihue, a Securitas security guard at Kukui Grove Shopping Center, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Waimea, Kauai. He is survived by son Ber nard “B.J.” Jr.; daughters Natasha, Malia and April; brother Patrick Sr.; sister Darlene Rita-Sarmento; caregiver Doreen Higashi; and eight grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. March 31 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Kekaha. Mass: 10 a.m.
