Edward Seikichi "Eddie" Matayoshi, 81, of Honolulu, a retired Hawaiian Electric Co. mechanic and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Margaret F. "Margie"; daughters Lynn S. Ching, Leila A. Muraoka, Lori E. Asahina, Laureen C. Kubota and Lisa N. Chena; sisters Rose T. and Jane H. Shiroma, and Mildred F. Kataoka; and six grandchildren. Private services.
