Benedict Joseph Simon, 83, of Halawa Heights, a civil service retiree at Hickam Air Force Base and an Air Force retiree, died in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Kohala, Hawaii. He is survived by sons Kevin D., Gary B., Brian P., Lee E. and Carlos; and six grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Mystical Rose Oratory at Saint Louis School/Chaminade University. Services: 10 a.m.
