Wilbert S. Sugiyama, 85, of Aiea, an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Pearl City. He is survived by wife Kathryn; daughters Susan Fujishige and Joy Takayama; brothers Mitsuyoshi, Tadashi and Masaharu; sisters Jean Kansaku, Hazel Hirata and Sara Sugiyama; caregivers Josie and David Yamane; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Private services.
