VICENTA C. VERGARA
Age 87 of Kaunakakai, Molokai Vicenta or otherwise called "Cintang" peacefully passed away March 10, 2012 in her Kaunakakai home. She was born on April 5, 1924 in Nagbukel, Ilocos Sur, Phillipines. Known for her "good" heart that failed to see the "bad" in others, and her sewing abilities, she was a member of the Saint Damien Church in Kauankakai. Also a member of Shinnyo-en Hawaii in Honolulu.
She is survived by sons, Ed, Glenn, and Arnold; daughters Aida Calvan and Irene Pabalan; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grand children, and brother Jaustino Calpito.
Visitation 8:30 a.m. Saturday (April 14) at Saint Damien Church; Memorial Service 10:30 p.m. Burial to follow at Kapaakea Cemetary.
