77Platon Medina Fermin, 100, of Kalaheo, Kauai, a retired McBryde Sugar Co. seed cutter, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He is survived by sons Vicente and Wilbert, and a grandchild. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kalaheo. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hanapepe Public Cemetery. Casual attire.
