Antonio Velez Abellanosa, 94, of Honolulu, an Army veteran who served in the U.S. Armed Forces in the Far East, or the USAFFE, died at home. He was born in Oroquieta, Philippines. He is survived by wife Maria; sons Adrian, Alejandro, Antonio Jr., Allan, Arnold, Albert and Andrew; daughters Antonette, Arlene and Alma; sister Gloria Caballero; 27 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Friday at Borthwick Mortuary. Services: 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation: 8 a.m. April 23 at the mortuary.
