James Kubo, 87, of Ewa Beach, formerly of Kailua-Kona, a retired Hawaiian Tel supervisor and an Army veteran, died in Ewa Beach. He was born in North Kona. He is survived by daughter Jaymee; brothers Winfred and Ralph; sisters Amy Ross, Judy Fukuda, Jeanette M. Hines and Eiko DeQuattro; and a grandchild. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Oahu Cemetery Chapel. Services: 10:30 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
