GERALD PATRICK AH YO
Passed away November 27, 2011 in Tucson, Arizona at the age of 63. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Herbert and Lillian Botelho Ah Yo. Gerry graduated from St. Louis High School, class of 1966, and the University of Hawai'i in 1971. He retired as a Major in the U.S. Army. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by his wife Cathy Vincent Ah Yo, children: Lokelani Ah Yo, Patrick (Amy) Ah Yo, Bert (Amy) Ah Yo, Puaonalani (Brad) Hoops. Brothers Herbert, Melvin, Clayton, and sister Cynthia Kupau. Grandchildren: Kalani and Keone Mills, Austin, Keahi and Kekai Aulds, Jacob and Leilani Ah Yo, Dylan Norton, and Lehua, Anela, and Kekoa Hoops.
Services will be held at Mystical Rose Chapel, St. Louis High School , 3140 Waialae Ave, Honolulu, Hawaii on May 5, 2012. Visitation is at 12 noon, and mass will start at 1:00 p.m. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the COPD Foundation, 2937 SW 27th Ave, Suite 302, Miami, FL, 33133. Burial will be at Punchbowl on Monday, May 7, 2012 at 9:30 a.m.
