Donald Makoto Yano, 76, of Honolulu, a retired McDonnell Douglas Corp. engineer and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Carole Y., daughters Kimberly S. and Marilynn K., brother Kenneth and sisters Elaine Patience, Leatrice Shiroma and Pauline Yano. Private services.
