He is survived by wife, Nancy Lee Eiko Kono; son, Shawn H. Kono of Reno NV; daughter, Michelle N. (Collin)Furakawa of Germany; brother, Hirofumi (Yukiko) Kono; sister, Satsuki Taylor of Kauai; 2 grand-children.
Private services were held.
