Giming T. Mendez Sr., 86, of Waipahu, a Kaiser Cement retiree, died in Las Vegas. He was born in Pangasinan, Philippines. He is survived by wife Esther M.; son Giming T. Jr.; daughters Val Antonio, Joy Silen and Lenor Mendez; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Private celebration of life.
