Yasuo Takamiya, 76, of Makawao, Maui, an Army veteran, died in Ewa Beach. He was born in Puunene, Maui. He is survived by wife Kimiko; daughters Cynthia Low, Lynn Sialana and Sylvia Lohr; mother Masako; brothers Toshio and Shigeru; sisters Hiroko Higa, Chiyeko Sasaoka, Setsuko Fujimoto, Yoshie Warren and Helen Uyehara; and six grandchildren. Services: 5 p.m. Saturday at Ballard Family Mortuary, 440 Ala Makani Place, Kahului. Casual attire. No flowers.
