Minoru Shibata, 91, of Honolulu, an electrical planner at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and an Army veteran, died in Palolo Chinese Home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Nora S.; son Clarke J.; daughters Diana A. Tung, Patricia T. Shibata-Murashige and Joyce M. Uyehara; sisters Ruth Honda, Sandra Rosa and Irene Oppheimer; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Private services.
