JACK KIYOSHI HASHIMOTOJACK KIYOSHI HASHIMOTO
Age 93, passed away May 2, 2012 at the Hiolani Care Center at Kahala Nui. Born July 11, 1918 in Wailuku, Maui. He retired as the Construction and Maintenance Superintendent of the Honolulu Airport in 1983. In his youth, he played catcher for the Kahului Railroad baseball team, and after retirement he took up golfing. He was very proud of his hole-in-one at the Hawaii Kai golf course. He and his wife "Ann" enjoyed traveling and visited many countries around the world; however, they enjoyed visiting Japan the most and went to Japan more than eighty times. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marian Natsuko (Kitagawa), and son Robert Tadashi. He is survived by his son Andrew (Merle), four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation at 5 pm and service at 6 pm on Thursday, May 17 at Nuuanu Memorial Mortuary. No flowers or monetary gifts.
