80Walter Kenichi Ashimine, 82, of Kaneohe, former manager of the Kaiser Estate and a retired Matson Navigation Co. heavy-equipment mechanic, died in Las Vegas. He was born in Kohala, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Dolores S.; sons Dustin K. and Derek K. Ashimine, and William K.N. Malina; daughters Misty T. Ashimine, April K. Ishigami, Allison K. "Aly" Takasaki, Williann K.N. Tucker and Williesue K.N. Kedro; brother Robert T.; sisters Jane K. Koki, Elsie K. Sumi and Jean S. Ashimine; 20 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 11 a.m. Saturday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services at noon. Casual attire.
