Alice Masae Terada, 83, of Honolulu, director of school for the Reading Center of Hawaii, died in Honolulu. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by husband Harry T.; sons Keith and Lance; daughter Suzanne; brothers Arthur, Herbert and Allen Marutani; sister Amy Kubota; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
