78Betty May Avilla Chamizo, 85, of Honolulu, a retired photo studio laboratory technician, died in Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Keaau, Hawaii. She is survived by son William J. Avilla; daughters Patricia and Genny De Jesus, and Iris Souza; stepson Edward; stepdaughters Lorraine Hamilton, Judy Gonsalves and Mary Ann Kaopua; sisters Ollie Rodrigues, Rosaline Gutierres and Melva Correa; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
