Joseph K. Kaapuni, 82, of Kaneohe, a retired city truck driver and Varsity Theater doorman, and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Judith I., daughter Joey-Lynn K. Springel, hanai son Darryl Chang and two grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Hope Chapel Kahaluu. Services: 10 a.m. Inurnment: 1 p.m. May 30 at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire.
