Cornelio Manaba, also known as "Larry"and "Coning," 78, of Keaau, Hawaii, formerly of Kaneohe and Honolulu, a retired Honolulu Gas Co. yard lead man, heavy equipment operator and Marine Corps veteran, died in Hilo. He was born inMakawao, Maui. He is survived by son Glenn D.; daughters Vivian L. Peterson, Valerie Perreira and Alvina P. Manaba; brother PrimotivoAmes; sisters Juanito Gemeno and Conchita Padayao; 19 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. Visitation:9 a.m. June 12 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Services:10 a.m. Commital services:1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Aloha attire.
