Howard Tamotsu Uyeda, 73, of Honolulu, a retired Hawaiian Dredging Co. foreman and an Air Force veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Carol M.; son Craig; daughter Debbie U. Taira; brothers Walter, Robert and Lawrence; sisters Shirley Yabu, Martha Paull and Jane Uyeda; and four grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday at Diamond Head Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Inurnment: 9:30 a.m. June 11 at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Aloha attire.
