72Leroy Mahina Matthews, 67, of Honolulu, a California Department of Education teacher and coach, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Gail N.; son Christopher K.; daughters Michelle P. Matthews, Danielle K. Naus and Summer Lam; sisters Blossom Nawili and Lanai Reyes; and seven grandchildren.
